Pittsburgh, PA (January 30, 2023) – The Pittsburgh Passion announced today a partnership with Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation (MWRIF) for the 2023 Women’s Football Alliance season. As the largest research institute in the U.S. dedicated to women’s health and reproductive biology, MWRIF is committed to empowering women both on the field and when it comes to their health and wellness. The Pittsburgh Passion ––Pittsburgh’s only current professional women’s sports team and a staple of the Pittsburgh sports community for the last two decades –– believe women deserve every opportunity that men are afforded in sports and beyond. This partnership aims to help change the way the world treats women.
