Passion Suffer First Loss of Season in Boston Saturday, Now 2-1

The undefeated Pittsburgh Passion traveled to Boston Saturday for a matchup with the undefeated Renegades. The night started out well for the Passion as they were able to move the ball effectively on the ground against the Boston defense, but unfortunately were not able to put points on the board to show for it.

The rushing attack of Maria Fautali, Alyssa George, Marcelina Chavez and Arielle Smith combined for 134 yards and a touchdown.

The touchdown from Smith came late in the 3rd Quarter, but the Passion were unable to get back into the game and fell to the Renegades 46-8.

The fight and passion were always there for Pittsburgh throughout the night as the team did not let the scoreboard affect them and they continued to show that never give up attitude.

The Passion will get back to work to prepare for their next opponent on the road next Saturday, May 14, when they travel to Columbus.
