PITTSBURGH -- Televised Passion Football has been nominated for a 2008 Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The NATAS annually recognizes outstanding achievements in television and related fields by presenting Emmy Awards in the chapters' designations. The 26th Annual Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards will take place September 13th in Philadelphia. Replays of Passion games can still be seen at viewer convenience OnDemand.

The Pittsburgh Passion is a licensed team in the Independent Women's Football League. The IWFL currently has over 1600 women playing the sport for 41 teams across North America from Southern California to Montreal and Washington to Florida.
